I have had some really loud noises coming from the front of my car. I brought it into Irwin and they told me it was my wheel-bearings. They had no available time slots until the following week to fix it, but Bob offered to take it and squeeze it in. After a few days, I received a phone call from Bob saying that everything was finished. I was shocked to hear that it was done so quickly, considering they had to order the parts for the vehicle. I came in to pick it up and was again shocked to hear the price. It was significantly lower than what I was expecting. He also took it upon himself to fix the recall gas peddle on it. I was very pleased. While I was paying, Bob went ahead and pulled my car up to the door for me. I highly recommend this dealership for all the friendly staff they have and the great prices. My recent auto purchase experience with Irwin Motors this past June was a very good one. I had shopped around a bit to see what might be available in the local area in purchase and lease deals on a limited budget, and the sales consultant at Irwin's made it happen for me. As a single woman, I was worried about having to "haggle" and play games to get the deal I wanted, but that simply was not necessary at Irwin's. I didn't feel any pressure at all, the sales consultant was most helpful and really went the extra mile to get me into my new Toyota! Follow up was great, too. I took my car in for service when my service light came on. I was met immediately at the desk by a pleasant gentleman who took my keys and explained what would happen and how long it would take. They kept me advised as to what was being done. Let me know what needed to be done. Explained the cost to me. Asked if I wanted this work done. It was done quickly and was processed quickly and I was on my way even faster than expected with less cost than I expected. I was given a graphic chart with what other things were checked and what the outcome was. I was very happy with this visit and will visit again.
Service (lubrication, tire rotation, state inspection) was promptly scheduled. I left the car and was given a ride to a nearby destination. I was called when the service was completed. I was picked up and returned to the dealership, all well within the time frame I had given.
The sales staff and management were excellent to deal with. There was no pressure to buy nor was there any rush in the buying process. It was a pleasant experience when I had to take my van in for a problem with the door check. It was covered under warranty but the men there treated me as though I was the one paying out of pocket for it. They explained what happened and what they did and were genuine. I have gone to a couple of dealerships prior to going to Irwin Toyota and I can honestly say the Irwin's is the most professional one of them all. I never hesitate to call them to set up an appointment and they will always scheduled me right away. Even if I tell them that I am going to have to wait for the car to be done they do everything they can possible do to perform their maintenance work as quickly as possible but never so quickly that the quality of their workmanship is compromised. As a matter of fact, just yesterday I purchased from them a new 2011 Sienna and I got it for the price I wanted, which in my opinion showed me they truly do care about me as their customer and wanted to keep me coming back to them. This was my third Toyota Sienna and I plan to buy all my cars from them. They do things the right way for their customers. You can tell that it isn't just lip service, they live up to their reputation as a dealership that puts the customer FIRST and not one that only cares about THEIR profit margin. I know they have to make a profit too, but I think that if a customer walks away totally satisfied then they have done their job at securing a customer for life.

I brought my Toyota 4Runner in for 10000-mile servicing. The service person was very thorough and accommodating. At one point I requested clarification regarding the low beam setting on my high intensity headlamps. The mechanic spent about 15 minutes with me answering all my questions, corroborating the proper headlamp setting, and test driving with me. The service person double-checked my completed work and assured I was fully satisfied, which I certainly was. Finally, the charges for the service visit were very reasonable.
I found the car I wanted on the internet, at a reasonable price. That kind of purchase can be very risky, but I had no trouble striking a deal with Betty Ballantyne, and trusting her and the rest of the Irwin team to deliver. After making the necessary inquiries, and a small deposit, I was able to book a one-way flight from East Lansing, Michigan to Manchester NH for less than $150. A representative from Irwin was there to pick me up and drive me to their lot. The car met or exceeded my expectations and, as an extra bonus, I discovered that Buddy Sickinger had even managed to track down the former owner, and secure the floor mats I had asked him about (to replace them with OEM would have cost me hundreds). I recently went to IRWIN, as I had seen a couple used vehicles I'd like to try. Although sometimes difficult car shopping with a toddler, Glenn was more than helpful switching car seats from car to car for my grandaughter. The day we first went, the vehicle I wanted to see was in the shop, so after waiting a while, we also looked at other vehicles. I called the next morning & was told that the car in the shop...was NOT going to be offered for sale, as it had PROBLEMS...(I greatly appreciated them telling me, so went back to look again at the RAV4). After driving home in the RAV, I noticed the windshield had scratches from the wipers from previous owner (which Irwin had changed in the prep), but scratches did not come out in the car wash. I went back Monday morning to follow up on it but neither Glenn nor Betty were in. Someone suggested I speak with AL, the General Sales Manager, who took one look at it and said, "I think we need to replace your windshield." So as not to have to sit around for a 3 hour period with the little one... they arranged for the glass company to come out to my house 30 miles away, the next day, and change it in my yard. I will definitely tell family and friends about IRWIN Motors & shop there again in the future. :)
I located a used vehicle online and worked with the sales staff at the Irwin Zone. They responded immediately to emails, and answered all questions honestly, and very quickly. I never felt pushed by them to make a decision, and they were honest, and upfront about the pricing, warranty information, and Carfax. Kim was flexible and candid throughout, and as a person who has purchased three cars before from private sellers, finding a good dealership is worth the $100-$200 they charge to get it reconditioned and certified-pre-owned (if applicable). My husband and I have been looking to trade in our vehicles for a Tacoma and RAV4 this past year. I had been looking online with other dealerships and we had been to another dealership, have taken test drives but we were not impressed. I went online and found Irwin dealership which was a lot further than the other 2 dealerships I had looked into. My husband and I ventured down on April 17th in the snow and rain.
We had the most pleasant and informative afternoon with Rick our salesman that we left that afternoon heading back north with my new RAV4 which was exactly everything I was looking for and more at a very good deal. My husband saw a Tacoma he liked but it was getting late. Rick has promised my husband he will work on a quote for the Tacoma and email it to us at weeks start. So we will be going back in a week to test drive one and hopefully make our 2nd Irwin purchase.
When I went into the Irwin Zone, I was only looking as my car loan was not yet paid off, but when I drove the RAV 4, I fell in love. I told Mike that I did not think it would be possible to afford it, so he offered to take down information and present me with options. My husband and I signed a P&S with the assurance that we could change our minds on the vehicle. After discussion with my husband, I called Mike back and said we were considering a higher end of the RAV 4 and requested that he work out some numbers. He did it without any complaint and got right back to me. The figure was too high for our budget so I told him we needed to look further. He called me right back with an option that we could handle and still get what we wanted. It was a pleasure to deal with someone locally who really cared and worked to get a deal that was beneficial to all parties. Mike took the time to demonstrate the different features of the RAV 4 and answer all of my questions.
After a two-week internet search, I found the Toyota Tundra I wanted online at Irwin Toyota and emailed the dealership. A quick response by Will Begin, Internet Manager, stated the truck was available and would be warmed up and waiting for me. I visited Irwin, and although Will wasn't working that day, I met up with Buddy Sickinger at the used car lot who gave me a key to take the Tundra for a spin. Unlike the Bow Toyota dealership where one has to surrender one's license to be copied and have a salesperson accompany the customer while taking a test drive, Buddy never asked for a license or even my name before handing me the keys. Buddy's trust in me spoke volumns about the dealership I was dealing with. The next day I called Buddy and told him I was interested in buying the Tundra, but I wouldn't be able to make it up to Irwin until the next day. Buddy kindly put a "hold tag" on the truck. Before seeing Buddy upon my return, I met up with Will who I had only had contact with via email. I found Will to be warm and personable. Given a fair deal for the Tacoma I was trading in, I met with Ray Walsh, Financial Service Manager, who gave me a lower loan rate than my credit union's already low rate. I've dealt with FSM's before and did not enjoy the experiences. Ray's cut from a different cloth: he's personable and knowledgeable and courteous. Within two hours, I was driving my Tundra back to Concord, having had experienced the most enjoyable encounter with a dealership during the past 40 years of owning vehicles. Buddy said he'd call in about a week to see how things are with my new rig. One would be hard pressed to find a more courteous and accommodating and thoughtful salesperson. As Buddy said when I handed back the keys to the Tundra after test driving it and initially not wanting to buy it, "You either buy something from me or you don't and we part as friends.”
My wife bought her 1st Rav-4 at Irwin in 2002. Another in 2006. I bought a p/u in 2005 and a Rav-4 in 2oo7. The salesman were great. When we went for service they could not do enough for you. They are very helpful. We are very satisfied at what they do.

I'm very happy with the sale and service I had. Mike in sales was very nice and friendly. The service department was just as nice. Took it in 2 weeks after I got it, to pick up my second key, had a question about a noise in front. They checked it out and said it was from the after market brakes and said that was the cause. And some one else (a friend) who works for another Toyota dealership said the same thing. Then I broke down a couple of weeks ago, and they took it right in and fixed it the same day. It ended up being a burn hole in the coil.
My visit was for the recall on my Camry's floor mats. I was told to expect it to take about 2 hours, but my car was ready in about 45 minutes. Everyone at Irwin is always helpful and friendly and this visit was no exception. I have recommended Irwin to several people.
This is our third Toyota from Irwin - we've gotten two Tundras and I have a new Prius. They are great people and know their stuff. We go there for servicing as well. When all the scare about the Prius came out, our salesman called to assure us that he was keeping on top of whether anything applied to our Prius.
I needed my State Inspection done. I telephoned the Irwin Zone service department and an appointment was set up. I arrived and spoke with Ray (Don't know last name). I asked to have my battery checked as well and was informed that it was part of the inspection service. He offered me a ride home which I declined because I live only a half mile away. He telephoned my home when the work was completed, well short of the four hours quoted. I picked up my vehicle and paid the cashier. I was given a complementary car wash coupon. What could have been better?

They are willing to go the extra mile-and have been very good to me a number of years now-there service department is very good have been able to get to know a number of the guys-same with the parts department and also the body shop-before going any where else be sure to try them first.

I'm usually negative about getting service based on experiences with other service centers. Was not the case at Irwin! I was greeted in a friendly manner, was explained how long it would take, was given cost and after all was done I was explained what was done. A bonus is the Owner Advantage plan. Great experience I will continue to bring my vehicles there for any and all service.
The service department at Irwin goes out of its way to be customer friendly. They always check with me before doing any work that was not previously discussed. In addition, someone always talks to me about what was done after the service is completed. Everyone in the dealership is friendly and helpful. I choose to drive to Laconia to have my car serviced there even though I live in Concord. There is a Toyota dealer in Concord, but I much prefer to deal with Irwin.
Once again I had exemplary service from Irwin Toyota Scion in Laconia. From the phone call to make the appointment, through the drop off, service department phone call to report the repairs needed to the payment process and pick up, all the employees were helpful, friendly and professional. My sister gave me a ride over to pick up my car and wanted to know why I would take my 84000+ mile car to the dealership for servicing. My answer was simple, "They always do a great job, and I know I can trust them".
Everyone went out of their way to make this purchase a positive experience. I was shipping the vehicle to my new post in West Africa and wanted a good used Toyota and a 3-year supply of parts and spare tires. Everyone helped with the purchase, the parts, the spare key, assisting me with follow-up on getting the title in time, etc. The care didn't come with a spare key, so they made one free of charge while they packaged up the parts I would need for my 3-year stay abroad. While I waited I watched the customer service crew as they worked with all customers, and they took a personal and sincere interest in each client. They knew most of them by name and treated everyone as family. It was an enjoyable wait. They also have a great incentives program and a discount for parts for people who buy their vehicles there which made my parts purchase quite reasonable. They even threw in a free car wash coupon.
Service was quick and correct, employees were informative and helpful, and their price beat smaller local discount shops (I checked). Their repair department looks extremely well equipped and very clean. Based upon my experience with their service department I expect I will purchase my next new car from Irwin Toyota.

My Toyota Sienna was recently in for routine service. The service rep who assisted me was very friendly and helpful and quickly arranged for the customer service vehicle to drive me to work while I left my car for service. I requested that the service be completed by 4pm but received a call about an hour early saying that everything was done. When I picked up my car the same service rep who had helped me in the morning, once again greeted me and reviewed the work done. When I went to pay my bill I was told that I could use accrued service points, which meant that the service was no charge and that I actually still had credit on my account. Very "easy" experience.
I have a brand new 2010 Camry. I went to go to work on a cool morning and when I went to put the heat on it was making a lot of noise and I was very concerned. I drove to Irwin's without an appointment and explained my situation. I thought they would just have me come back but instead took my car right in and then offered me a ride to work. Wayne called around 1:00PM to explain I had a mouse nest that had settled into my blower motor causing the problem. He quoted $160 to fix it and wanted my OK before proceeding. I gave my OK but explained that I get out of work at 3:00PM and would like the car by then if possible. He said they would work on it immediately so that I could have it by 3:00. They called before 3:00 to let me know the car was all set. When I went to pick it up Wayne said that the work was actually less, it was only $129.75 which was great. I then went to pay and the clerk advised that I had Irwin Advantage points which then reduced by bill to $105.80. Needless to say I was very pleased with both the service and the courtesy way I was treated. I love the Toyota vehicles and have had quite a few. I like their reliability and when it is time to trade it in I feel they retain their resale value much more then other vehicles.
The service consultants and accounts payable representative are professional, competent, personable. They make my service visit pleasant! The hours of operation and local shuttle service make doing business at Irwin easy. The call back feature of service, when your vehicle is ready, coupled with a car wash voucher is a real bonus.

I have sold cars before and was truly impressed with the cordiality, respect and professionalism shown to both my wife and I by the people we dealt with at Irwin Toyota, namely, Betty Ballantyne, Joe and Ray who were vary patient as we drove several autos to determine which met our wants and needs.
I really wish to mention that there are several Toyota dealers closer to our home but after calling to ask questions and either being rebuffed or not having messages answered that were left by me asking to have my call returned, I decided to reach out to Irwin Toyota in Laconia, a one hour drive away. I called and made an appointment with Betty Ballantyne. When we arrived, Betty met us with a smile and a firm handshake, and then assigned a salesman ( Joe ) to assist us in selecting a vehicle. We drove several, both new and used. This is where most people get the bum's rush. Salespeople become frustrated and want to "broom" the buyers off the lot, because they did not purchase the first car they saw. That did not happen at Irwin. It took time, as any large purchase should, and they gave of their time in a very cordial manner. We were very pleased with the salespeople, the management and yes, even the finance guy who came along and explained, in a very intelligent and caring manner, the absolute necessity of purchasing a contract to insure parts of our vehicle should they malfunction. This contract is erroneously referred to in the business as a "warranty". It is not, it is a parts and labor contract and is necessary due to the large amount of functioning computers that exist in autos today.

Great customer service was provided by Bob Abbott and Michael Grady. Bob Abbott is friendly and helpful when I bring my car in for an appointment. My car was ready in a reasonable amount of time. I have always been satisfied with the quality of work given by Irwin's.
The service on October 1, 2009 was for lube, oil change, and filter change. Also a state inspection. The Irwin Zone has a very efficient and knowledgeable staff. Irwin does try to keep the repair cost down as much as possible and offer coupons for service to their customers.
When I arrived at the dealership I was met promptly and courteously. The service people at the desk now seem to know me. Sometimes it is difficult to find the paperwork for my car because it is registered in the name of my trust, rather than my name. However, this time the person at the desk knew exactly where the paperwork was. There was a reasonable charge for a state inspection sticker. The person who sells tires explained to me that I would need tires before winter. He explained in detail my various options but I felt no pressure to buy them either at this visit or at a future visit.
I am very happy with Irwin Motors. Although we have not purchased a vehicle there recently they have treated us like we are a favored customer. the communication is excellent - describing the work to be done up front and then calling with changes and cost estimates. I'm never happy with the cost of vehicle repairs but at least at Irwins I am given good explanations and the work that is done keeps my vehicle in good shape.
Once again--Great friendly service---I left a note on the front seat for the Tech's explaining how I wanted the tires rotated, and they did it the way I wanted it done. Employees must be happy working at Irwin's, they all have a smile for you. After the work was done the service writer walked me to the cashier rather just pointing.
I bought my Toyota Highlander 4 years ago from the Irwin Zone and have had it serviced there ever since. They are reliable, pleasant and fast. I was in and out within 45 minutes last week for a 5000 mile check up! When I bought my car they gave me a great price on my trade-in. I wouldn't go anywhere else.

Recently I had 2 positive service experiences with Irwin Toyota. My wife's Camry was due for lube, oil & filter change. Not only a friendly greeting, but prompt service and she had enough service credits to qualify for "no charge" service! A few weeks later my Highlander Hybrid was due for lube, oil & filter change as well. I asked for an appointment and received one the next day. I had the same pleasant greeting from the service folks and a quick turn around on completion. Another fine job by Irwin Motors!
This was the best car buying experience I've had in 30+ years of buying cars! I usually dread walking into a car dealer because I hate the hounding you get from the salespeople. But this didn't happen at Irwin Toyota. I was given plenty of opportunity to be alone with my husband to talk about the car in private. Then when "wheeling and dealing", I never felt like they were trying to give me a "snow job". Everything was open and up front. On top of that, the sales team there was one big happy family--they were so friendly and full of personality! We felt like best friends by the time the day was over. As a matter of fact, they were so good that we went back the next day and bought a second car! You MUST try this place out!
Since I bought my Camry from Irwin a little over a year ago, I have had only positive experiences in my dealings with them. During the process for purchasing my car, everyone was friendly and helpful. I had also looked at Camry’s at another dealership, and I was not treated as well, and the price was not as good. I have had my car in for service at Irwin for 3 regular services as well as for State Inspection . I have been very satisfied each time I have dealt with the service department. I would definitely recommend Irwin to anyone looking for a good experience with a Toyota dealer.
